Bitcoin to set New Record with the All Time High Price Over 61.000

Bitcoin, the best-known cryptocurrency, has set a new record by reaching $ 60,000 (50,194 euros) this Saturday , encouraged by optimism for this type of assets, thus exceeding the corrective it has experienced in recent weeks.

The crypto asset touched that amount at noon, although it has subsequently deflated and around 5:00 p.m. it was already trading at $ 59,760 (49,993 euros), rising 4.67%.

In recent weeks, bitcoin has seen a correction and suffered its biggest crash on February 28 due to the fall in global bond markets, which pushed yields up and caused investors to ditch riskier assets. .

On that occasion, it fell to 43,500 dollars (36,391 euros). However, that has not stopped the upward trend of the cryptocurrency, whose price soared after the support of institutional investors and the commitment of large organizations such as PayPal, Mastercard and BBVA, which have allowed to operate with bitcoin.

The behavior of bitcoin in the last year draws attention due to its great volatility, since it went from 4,000 dollars (3,346 euros) registered just a year ago to 60,000 this Saturday. For this reason, the CNMV and the Bank of Spain issued a statement about a month ago in which they warned of the risk that cryptocurrencies have for investors.
